Kathryn Bailey

Doctoral Student

Kathryn Bailey is pursuing a doctorate in special education at Vanderbilt University. As a doctoral student, Kathryn’s research interests center on the development and use of blended language, behavior interventions, and naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions for young children with disabilities. Prior to starting her doctorate degree, Kathryn earned her bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and psychology from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in special education at Vanderbilt University.

Kathryn has previously worked in social communication intervention research for children with autism, and has also assisted in research studying severe challenging behavior in children with IDD.
